Plan Your Year's Announcements

One of the best reasons to attend a trade show is to make a product announcement.

You have customers there. You have prospects there. You have strangers (who may be qualified prospects there). Your business partners and key suppliers may be there. You have media and analysts there. (This is BIG)

And, if you are good you have your competitors there (and they are unprepared for your announcement!)

So shows are great places to make a product announcement or upgrade. Every year at the CES Bill Gates make big announcements and has the whole world focused on it.

If you plan to attend multiple shows make sure you make a list of planned company milestones and announcements such as product launch, merger/acquisition, market research, pricing action and partner announcements.
